How to Get Over Being Ghosted

I am featured in a story written by Charlotte Grainger on the MSN.com website. The article is titled “How to get over being ghosted by your Tinder date.” Similar to other articles that I’ve been featured in, I give a few tips on what to do. It’s a short read with 21 slides.

In the article, I give my thoughts about how to respond to being ghosted. Urban dictionary defines ghosting as ‘when a person cuts off all communication with the person they’re dating, with zero warning or notice before hand.’ An example is, “I haven’t talked to Jessica in a month. She ghosted me.”

One suggestion I give is to grieve. Grieve what could have been. Grieve the dream. Be present with those emotions. Be all up in your feelings. Be like Drake. All in my feelings. Allow yourself to process and experience those emotions. They will come up.

Another tip I give is to focus on yourself. Instead of focusing on the person who ghosted you, focus on yourself. Focus on being the best person that you can be. Become the best version of yourself.

There are many other tips in the article from other experts in the field. Head over to MSN or click on the photo in this post to go directly to the article.
